A bit about me

I’m a design leader based in Austin, TX with over 20 years of experience creating products that make people’s lives easier, whether they’re managing their finances or planning their next move. I’m skilled in facilitation, product design, and strategy, and I’m driven by curiosity, intuition, and a genuine desire to create meaningful experiences.

My approach blends research-driven design with agile methodologies — I love connecting the dots, identifying patterns, and crafting solutions that balance thoughtful interactivity with powerful visuals.

My path to design started with art. I was captivated by my parents’ vinyl covers — the way typography, color, and imagery told stories fascinated me. From drawing portraits and painting murals to decorating storefront windows for extra cash, art became my first design playground. Studying design at the University of Texas was a natural next step. Influenced by the philosophies of Charles and Ray Eames, I spent long nights in the studio experimenting, iterating, and learning to see design as a way of thinking.

Since my UT days, I’ve worked across multiple disciplines — interiors, textiles, illustration, print, web, and digital products — each one shaping how I approach problem-solving today. At the heart of it all, I’m an artist who finds purpose in designing experiences that help people feel more confident, capable, and connected.

Forever a learner, I’m always exploring new ways to refine my craft and push design forward — one meaningful experience at a time.
